The MD of DWMC & Associates, David Wright has been the Chair of the Improvement Foundation (IFA) (a Not for Profit organisation) from it's formation in 2005 - 2021. During this time IFA has been committed to quality improvement in healthcare in Australia. The organisation made the bold decision to wind down it's operations in March 2021, following one of the unfortunate outcomes of Covid. Over the 16 years, IFA has made some wonderful contributions to assisting organisations in making real improvements in patient care. It has been estimated that over 420,000 patients have directly benefited from IFA's work. Over the years the skills and knowledge of quality improvement as applied in health settings have been shared across Australia. It was an absolute pleasure in chairing the organisation.
